I. SYNOPSIS


“Once it locks onto you, you're a target. You are its
target. You run, but it's no use. Run, rabbit; run, rab
-bit; run, run, run.” The same old story spreads abo
-ut the strange disappearances at Hawkins High S
-chool, creeping around every corridor and seeping
its way into every lunchtime discussion. “Then you
're trapped. Trapped in the cul-de-sac. There's no e
-scape for you now. Once he's got you, you're gone.
Gone.” The final word echoes for evermore down t-
he school corridors.

Hawkins is a town in Indiana. A very queer and pec
-uliar town, in fact. Nothing normal seems to happ-
en here, full of eerie and ambiguous occurrences. B
ut nothing was ever quite as extreme as the notorio-
us disappearance of Will Byers, a boy aged only twe
-lve, on the night of April the eighth, in 1983, exactly
as the clock struck eleven. He was never seen since
that horrifying night. He never returned home, as far
as his family were concerned, that night. He was nev
-er able to see his friends and family again—equally,
they were never able to see him again, either.

Fast-forward to the present day: 1985. The disappea
-rances still happen to this day, even after two years.
The culprit hasn't been found and the victims were n-
ever seen since they were reported missing. Some pr
-esume that they're dead, while others—sceptics and
cynics, perhaps, won't take that for an answer withou
-t evidence. Because evidently, their bodies or traces
of their downfall has never been found. No matter the
efforts of the authorities, no matter how many parties
they sent out looking, they soon (and inevitably) gave
in and ruled the investigation closed. Without any evi-
dence anywhere to be seen, it was deemed as merely
wasting their time, despite the families of the missing
who pleaded to continue the search for the lost.

Rumour has it, the missing wind up at Hawkins Nation
-al Laboratory—colloquially known as "the madhouse"
for an obscure reason—but whether it is true or not is
beyond anyone. All that they know is that a captor is l
-urking the streets of Hawkins, ready to lock onto and
wind in its next victim at exactly eleven o'clock on the
eighth of every month, only there are two kidnappings
instead of one: in the morning and at night. There is v
-irtually no telling who the mysterious figure is targeti-
ng next month. Perhaps some things which are born a
mystery will always remain a mystery.

You form an unlikely bond (somewhat) with seven oth-
ers due to your common goals which the eight of you
are more than determined to fulfil. To find your lost lo-
ved ones. Wherever they are, whatever they are doing,
whoever they are with, whatever it takes—you will find
them. Dead or alive.

II. CHARACTERS


In this roleplay, there will be exactly eight characte
-rs and no exceptions. It would be ideal if both gen
-ders are equal, so I will be separating this out into
four females and four males. You may reserve by s
-imply posting on the thread with your character. T-
here will also be no definitive character sheet and h
-ow ever you choose to present your character is co
-mpletely and utterly up to you. Though, I wish for y
-ou to include the bare minimum of their name, age,
gender, appearance, vices, virtues, a brief biography
and their lost loved one.

therefore, up for grabs, which can be broken down i-

III. RULES & REGULATIONS


Follow all the website rules. While the-
se are fairly limited to some extent, ple-
ase don't swear in excessive quantities
or break any of the other site rules.

All sexes, gender identities, races, ethn
-icities and sexualities are welcome. Be
creative with your character, think outside
of the box—be original with your face cla-
im choices. Keep it diverse.

Stay active on this roleplay. I expect, at t-
he bare minimum, one or two posts ever
week. If you're not even going to be both-
ered to post actively, then I can't be bothe
-red to roleplay with you.

This is semi-literate. The minimum length
of posts that I require is two paragraph an-
d roughly two hundred words. Of course, m
-ore is welcome but quality will always be p
-referred over quantity.

Tell me if you're being excluded. I don't wa
-nt anyone feeling left out or unequal. How-
ever, please do not complain if your charact-
er is not making any attempts of interaction.
That's your problem, not anybody else's. If y
-ou want to be noticed, then you are going to
have to start up some interactions yourself.

Try to be civil. If you feel an argument or a
tension of some kind brewing, take a step a-
way to calm down. I won't tolerate argumen-
ts or disrespect on my threads.

Add drama to the roleplay! Expand on plot p-
oints, develop your characters and just add to
the roleplay. Drama is what makes the experi
-ence more whole and enjoyable.

Use realistic face claims. This means, obvio-
usly, no animation or drawings. Sorry, but no.

Do not copy anyone (whether they are in the
roleplay or not) in any way, shape or form. It
is highly rude and disrespectful to do so. Pla-
giarism is also against the law, might I add. B

I. SYNOPSIS


After graduating from high school, the tight-knit
bundle of eight friends from Minneapolis, Minnes
ota parted their separate ways. Skype calls starte
d out frequent; although, as soon as employment
kicked in, the overwhelm of jobs and relationship
stress kicked in. The eight friends drew apart, ver
y gradually. It wasn't until one of the friends came
by one warm day in September, in 2016 their frien
ds' contact details. Having been eight years since t
hey graduated, they thoughtfully composed and ar
ranged a reunion around the Christmas season.

It was, surprisingly enough to the one organising th
e reunion, a success and the seven others agreed so
mewhat wholeheartedly. The plan was that they wo
uld be staying in a large chalet located in their hom
e state, Minnesota, meaning that the odd couple ma
y have to travel out of their way if they moved out fr
om Minnesota. It was arranged to be over Christmas,
with a quiet yet beautiful winter resort booked for th
e twenty-first of December. Children and partners of
the friends were also invited, of course. Who knows
what drama could blossom.

I. SYNOPSIS


On the thirteenth of September 2149, exactly one hun
dred delinquents, who were arrested under eighteen y
ears of age, were sent down via the Ark's Exodus drop-
ship to the apparently nuclear-infested Earth to test its
radioactivity. Whether they die or not down there is m
ere fate. They shouldn't have broken the law anyway.

The hundred convicted crimes that would typically get
them floated—blasted into space, and inevitably killed
due to the lack of oxygen—but due to being under the
age of eighteen, they were merely sent straight down
to juvenile lockdown, also known as the Sky Box. Whe
n it is discovered that life-support on the Ark cannot c
ontinue for much longer, desperate times call for desp
erate measures. One hundred juveniles currently resid
ing in Lockup are randomly selected and a metal trans
ponder is forced onto their wrist. Facing a potential de
ath if they disobey, the hundred are left with no choice
but to board the drop-ship to their apparent death. Thi
s all happened, of course, with prior "lessons" in "Earth
Skills", taken out of their cells for three times a week f
or one month, taught by a Council official. Then, they
would be sent to Earth via the Exodus ship.

With their target landing point is at least remotely nea
r the Mount Weather Emergency Operations Centre, lo
cated in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, USA. Th
at landing point is successful, with the drop-ship crash
landing within three miles of the emergency centre. Fo
r a few days, the hundred are convinced that the Earth
is radiation-free—there is no death toll for poisoning, o
nly ten to twenty at most for starvation or dehydration.
However, a group of ten (five males and females) emb
ark on a mission to search for Mount Weather (which th
cey were told was what held permanent supplies rather
than the rations within the drop-ship). Although, they d
on't return back to Camp.

These ten were taken by Mount Weather, who weren't a
s friendly as the Ark made out to be. Kept in the quaran
tine unit at the very bottom and off-limits level of the u
nderground evacuation unit, they're soon to discover wh
ere Mount Weather's demands truly stand.

I. SYNOPSIS

The great war of Kaericia happened centuries ago; the only
good coming out of it being the separation of the entire kin
gdom and becoming a massive turning point in history. The
House of Paisley represents the spring, the House of Ventra
lli represents the summer, the House of Cordell represents t
he autumn and the House of Yakim represents the winter.

As an attempt to reconcile the tense atmosphere from throu
ghout the past decades, the central house of Kaericia, holdin
g the king and queen ruling the land, the male and female he
ir to the throne from each house will be attending a royal ball
taking place in Kaericia. Though, they'll be betrothed to an he
ir of another house. There's only a given time of a few months,
which will be spent whole-fully within Kaericia, to gain their h
eart. The end result? Marriage and, hopefully, the restoration
of peace throughout the land.
